Randall Seeks Re-election to Judge Seat

By Amanda Smith

The Honorable Judge William Randall is currently seeking re-election to the judge seat of Civil and Magistrate Court of Bibb County, a seat he has held for the past 6 years.

Prior to this position, he practiced law at his own firm, William Randall, Attorney at Law, LLC for 29 years.  24 of those years, he served in the House of Representatives.

Judge Randall and his wife Lauretta have 5 children.

When asked his opinion of Drug Court, he replied that it is “a very useful court; I support it wholeheartedly.”

Judge Randall would like to make the voters in the upcoming election aware of his achievements during the past 6 years:

  • His is the first and only court in Bibb County to go on-line and file civil cases
  • 1st magistrate court to initiate pre-trial diversion in bad check cases
  • In an effort to help the late-night police force, officers can now bring prisoners the following morning for first appearance, allowing the officers to do this before they go home after their shift.
  • Worked with the Police and Sheriff’s Department on domestic abuse cases, diffusing situations and making arrests more quickly.

Judge Randall would like your vote and says he will bring back to the bench “a wealth of experience, an innovative mind, and a high sense of fairness and justice.”
